Alma Lex is a free, open-source Swiss legal AI operated by Joshua Gartmeier. This privacy policy explains how Alma Lex handles your data. In short: your conversations stay on your device. We do not collect any personal data and no login is required.

Your conversations are not stored on our servers. Messages are transmitted to Swiss servers (Infomaniak, datacenter in Geneva) and an EU server (Finland) for processing. After generating the response, this data is discarded. No AI models are trained with your inputs. No US cloud services are used.

All data transfers between your browser and our servers use SSL/TLS encrypted connections. AI models run at Infomaniak in Geneva (Switzerland). The application itself runs on a dedicated server in Finland (EU). Both locations are subject to strict data protection regulations.
